01 Jun To day is June 1st, the classical school reopening in the state, which invariably coincides with breaking of SW monsoon in Kerala traditionally. I do not believe in traditions in he first place. But traditional breaking of SW monsoon did not occur to day. This a matter of concern to me. Because without water around the life in the state will become hard and harsh for the disadvantaged far more tha the advantaged. The IMD has limitations about technology and ……But what plays out is the driving force deeply burried in climate changer about which the policy formulators never worried. If there was any concern the new govt in kerala would not have betted on hydel power instead of renewables like solar pv and wind. Well the societies working to graduate to the first world are always blocked by orthodoxy of practices. The betting on hydel is one bright example.
