Thrivikramji.com | I was in kariavattom campus with four women students taking a field course in international development of Nikon Fukushima university of Japan. We paid a visit to the dept. of political science on the invitation dr. Shaji Varkey and his colleagues and the hod, prof Prakash. The visitors enjoyed the briefing by the faculty and their later interaction with the students of the dept. As we reached through the maze of preholiday traffics it took a fairly long time to reach. So we had to skip audience with dr. Achuth sankar and his team of students in the dept. computational biology and bioinformatics. It was interesting and nostalgic to me as I was reminded of the long innings from 1968 till 2004 in the same campus. Campus is now larger in respect of built up space. Unfortunately the upkeep is not respectable. Well, that is a slice of our state that was on display…..
