Thrivikramji.com | I and Prem rode in his car to vijaya nanda ashram This morning leaving my home at 6:30am to reach the ashram say by 8:45 am. Crowd there was nearly slim and saro jini Chechi the untiring cook in chief for the last may be sixty or so years Gave up ma and a cup of tea. I enjoyed it. Then walked over to the cremation site of diseased Jana Amma Chechi. Paid our respects. On parking the car went to siva temple that stands on the site where a potty was laid in samadhi way back in April third week or last week of 1960 when I was taking my pre univ exams.. Then sat with rasamma teacher in her room for a long while till lunch was ready. Talked and listened to each other. This Chechi has taken ill and some sort of motor problem..cure at her age is that not easy. She could be crossing 80 y . She was one of the high school head teachers. Retired from the s v g v high school and lived all along as a spinster devoted to the vijay ananda Sami kal, the founder of all that one would see intheeightacre campus at nalkalikal. The trust has time to cater to the needs of the school and not much worry about the future or the present day upkeep of ashram. Money matters more than more in today’s world. The ashram is no exception. The trustees are no apology either…
