Bad news this morning is the uninformed fall of a old tree with widespread braches of a road side tree over a school bus stealing the lives of children and stamping permanent grief in the minds of parents. The fault in on the side of Kerala forest department who earn a claim by law to all trees above the ground on themselves. It is the foresters who finally decide whether or not cut or trim the tree menacing the public. truly the public has no worry about a fallen tree about to fall tree like the rabid dogs . they have other day to day things to worry. cabinet can not walk areound to identify the trees to be trimmed or cut. in spite of the forest institute training and retraining the forest bosses, they never implement the learned insight. the skhar kuriakose out fit will have to jum pin to dress trees.it is indeed shame in a society like ours where one hand holds a mobile phone and the other looks to heavens for salvation and scores of selfie benefits. the vast chunk of the society is hapless and helpless on such issues. I shall also say that some one will erect a memorial stealing the road right of way at the scene of accident in immediate future. well how our society will modernised in shorter time than otherwise is a moot point still.
