A Benares educated and trained M.Sc in Geology, this young man joined the GSI through the Industry (Iron ore) in the early fiftees. Mr. Jacob then worked in the field of hydogeology and finally earned accolades for his contributions in the ground water development of theIndian nation. He now lives in Trivandrum with his family, enjoying a peaceful retired life.
