This morning Matheubhoomi came out with two photos of waste piles in the city, mirroring the image of the ruling mayoress of Trivandrum, one who sits there only by virtue of politics. Unfortunately the city dwellers are least bothered about the waste removal and proper disposal.
I am sure that the apex leadership is least concerned about the waste as these are very rarely exposed to waste originated diseases. It is those who count as a single vote are immediately affected.
It is also an example of the Balkanization like feeling in the minds or a narcissistic mindset that prevents waste disposal .
When it comes to waste disposal, people still believe in pipe composting like Ramayana day methods and not any modern technology like the one used in the electric crematoria functioning in various parts of the country.
Well vast majority of my fellow citizens still live with a mindset moulded by the leadership.
