There is a threat from the Kseb on a price hike of electricity. They propose a return to sort of two slab only system and want to gather 1400 crores. Very good for Kseb staff. Now there will be a slogan of price escalation. The first one was the raising of busfare. The KSRTC and Kseb are run by govt in the name of social commitment. But if a work study is done then it will reveal a huge pipeline of wastage, salary paid in return for no work and purchase of stores for kick backs and not for meeting the needs. Here too the
Citizen is squeezed for moping up the funds.
Unfortunately the users are never told about the exact financials of these two cos.
The only state in the union where the staff is paid for no work in return as these are bosses or functionaries of political formations.
This culture is rampant in other ministries of the state govt., and is reflected in the falling standards of service as well as edu standards.
We are in a state that every family thinks of having a tutor for their kids as they feel the school classes some how do not coach the kids to learn and understand better.
