KPCC pres makes tall claims about reducing the reach of liquor to masses who otherwise would have gone down the pit.
In fact, outwardly the platform of pres is a great thing. In reality it is bottomless.
In another two yr the new govt will be in place and it could follow a different route in respect of making liquor out of reach of public.
It is a pipe dream. There are other pressing problems. In the state like fall in quality of school and college education or industrialization of the state that many young keralites would be in a position to realize their dreams.
So the personal desire of the pres shall not over shadow the public policy and the reason is simple. We are a democracy.
The pres need lot of self restraint than looking for hand shakes and palm claps.
