14 Apr The golden rule shall be lives are to be lived and not cheaply sacrificed.
We Indians are trapped in third ratism. For example two valuable lives however poor they are, sacrificed their lives in the altar of dancing third ratism while cleaning a manhole in kochi.
If there was a p.rovision for pumping fresh air from surface don into manhole was in place this sacrifice could have been avoided.
Death at work site is common place in india as the contractor cares less about ensuring workplace safety, in spite of the provision in in holy books of workplace safety.
That is third ratism undoubtedly. And no trade union or social activist or proactive organizations or any of those who are outside of politics will every worry about.
The golden rule shall be lives are to be lived and not cheaply sacrificed.
May a day dawns when such things will be in place in the country.
