Yesterday also the public sacrifice staged itself in Plakkad dist, taking five lives instantaneously. This is not an election issue as it affects only the immediate families. Can we allow this go on like this in the roads of Kerala .
The govt will look the other way as long as the public goes about it in its usual style policy of not in my family attitude.
The youth brigade of politicos are equally unconcerned. So are the religious and ethnic groups.
Reasons are obvious. The tangible remedy is wide roads visible intersections and good pavements. All these task land and no human minds willing to abdicate land for a public enterprise.
But then can it go on. No. The time is now and here and the society needs to act.
Interestingly, the public attention is on the airport, kasturirangan and solar and joppan or salmi raj.
