Trivandrum airport has a powerful radar imported from some country in Europe. Interestingly, even after close to seventy years of independence we make only food and cement and some Steel. I wonder what the is ro or dr do is doing. Still learning how to copy proven techs.
I feel ashamed of the Indian minds foray into new techs.
In a recent meeting called scientist interface, of kscste, I posed a comment about renaming the Cess as Cesst , injecting technology in the name so that at least some in the org will think in terms of technologies instead of science for sake of science.
Science of late is become a pursuit in self service an not serving the society.
Will any body worry about it or is it again a 90:9:1 syndrome or trap.
