Back to home after a reconnaissance of Konkan coastal belt in Maharashtra, with a team of professionals (Dr.Padmakumar, Fisheries Researcher) and Dr. Narayanan (another stalwart in a related specialty). Monotonous geology and landscape. A table land skirted by a cliff face on sea side with beaches, and creeks. Creeks took their courses, along the transverse faults/lineamnets. Laterite capping easily qualifies for ferricrete- a wonderful foot work.
