The cry by the leadership of NSS on the list of UDF candidates for the byelection in Kerala earned a bit of publicity for the Assistant Secretary while the real SAecretary was looking over. By keeping equal distance as professed yesterday, NSS proved its un-clout again. I am sure that the rest of the community at Karayogam level will not worry about the stance of the leadres nor will wait for the sound of racking of whip from the HQ to reach their ears.
The leadership is playing politics of no strength or clout. The society hardly commands any respectable votebank in any one of the constituencies. That being the case the comments made yesterday will remain a far cry like always.
