My mom Eswari Pillai passed away at 12 mid night, nov 30, 81

My dear mom breathed her last breath in an auto rickshaw that took her from kythavilakom home thru the kythavilakom lane to a waiting taxi at about 11:30 pm. The car couldn’t go to door way of home as there was a new sewer lane under construction as part of the KWA program. I assisted mom and Chechi to board the auto. Mom was walking herself to the auto and carefully walked down the steps to the auto. Mom had difficulty in breathing.
I rushed to the waiting taxi. Kochettan also walked to the taxi. But when auto emerged near the taxi
Mom was not in her seat but slid down the seat and sort squatting in the space between the passenger seat and partition behind the driver.
I rushed to mom and lifted her up with the help of kochettan. But mom was dead by then there was no breath or pulse. The moment I told kochettan that man cried loud and his children moni and Biju started crying in chorus.
Anyway we took her over to dr. Sasidharan in the RMo quarters of peroorkada hospital. The dr was a friend of kochettan. This man recognizing kochettan came out. Then he checked mom and pronounced that mom died in about five to ten minutes ago.
That was a fact unacceptable to moms companions in the kythavilakom lane. Reason is simple. Mom and another four ladies used to go as a team to the krishnasamai temple every day practically and came out of the temple after the last evening pooja at eight pm in the evening. That was the reason these women did not believe that mom died. They were all together In the temple and parted only at 8:15 pm as usual.
A very peaceful end indeed. My salute to the departed soul.
