The Silent Valley Project Proposal in the late seventies and eighties opened up a great debate in the country regarding environmental protection and development. In fact this was the cradle of environmental activism in the country. I had an opportunity to be with the scientific team those days knick named as “Paid scientists”. This note was read and presented to the Menon Commission.
